Description
Dog Breed: Pit Bull Terrier / Mixed. I was a super good boy for my bath! I felt sooo much better afterwards that all I wanted to do was cuddle :) I recently went to a specialist for my eyes. My retinas are fine but my corneas are not in good shape. My vision is limited but I get around pretty well. When the doctor had to rub the sonogram thingy all over my eyeballs I did a great job being still and giving kisses despite how weird it felt. I was prescribed some eye drops to see if that helps me see better but I will always have vision impairment, and will need eye drops for the rest of my life. I am in a foster home right now to ensure I get all my drops and also so I can chill from the noisy shelter. I am a good boy and very affectionate. The tech at the specialist's office couldn't stop talking about me to all her friends and family :) If you aren't afraid of giving eye drops I just might be your sweet boy!

Breed overview
Overview:
A mongrel, mutt, or mixed-breed dog, is a dog that is not the result of breeding within an existing breed or to modify or create a breed and belongs to no breed. In the United States, the term "mixed-breed" is a favored synonym over "mongrel" among many who wish to avoid negative connotations associated with the latter term. The implication that such dogs must be a mix of defined breeds may stem from an inverted understanding of the origins of dog breeds. Pure breeds have been, for the most part, artificially created from random-bred populations by human selective breeding with the purpose of enhancing desired physical, behavioral, or temperamental characteristics. Dogs that are not purebred are not necessarily a mix of such defined breeds. Therefore, among experts and fans of such dogs, "Mongrel" is still the preferred term.
