Dog Breed: Australian Cattle Dog/Blue Heeler / Mixed (medium coat). Adoption Fee: $20 Includes: Spay/Neuter, Rabies, Microchip, DA2PP, Pyrantel, Nasal Bordatella Age: 4 years old Weight: 52 lbs If you are interested in meeting and adopting or have any questions please call the Lee's Summit Animal Shelter at 816-969-1640 to schedule an appointment. ***BEHAVIOR TEST*** DOG TEST: (Single Dog Home) Dexter tends to keep to himself and prefers that dogs stay out of his personal space. Dexter Would do best in a home with no dogs! CAT TEST: (Bad with Cats) Dexter tends to growl and has a tendency to chase cats. Dexter should not go to a home that has cats. KID TEST: (Okay with Kids) Dexter tends to jump when he is excited and might do best with older kids until further training. HOUSE BROKEN: (Potty Trained) Dexter seems to be potty trained. ENERGY LEVEL: (Medium-High) Dexter loves to be outside and around his humans. Dexter can always be seen running around the yard with a toy in his mouth. Dexter has been to some DISC competitions and is great at jumping and catching Frisbees! Dexter has been in the shelter environment for a long time and is eager to find his forever home. Dexter would thrive in a one on one environment with an individual who is active but is also in need of some good snuggles!
