Description
Dog Breed: Pit Bull Terrier (medium coat). Iâm not the loudest one in the room. I like to take my time. You know, sniff things out⦠get a feel for people. Not that I donât like you! I just need to know you first. Trust doesnât come easy, but once I give it to you, itâs yours forever. Iâm a pit bull, yeah. Iâve heard the things people say. Big head, strong build, serious face. But behind all that? Iâm a softie. A real one. Iâve got a heart like a marshmallow and I fall hard... for people, for pets, for snacks. Oh, snacks. Iâll do the sit for them! Food is the way to my heart. Toys are my obsession. Balls, squeakers, ropes, that weird plush dinosaur with only one eye left... mine. I toss 'em, chase 'em, chew 'em, and sometimes nap with them tucked under my chin. It's my thing. You got a toy? Weâre already friends.Once I warm up to you, I love pets. Real slow at first... chin scratches are a good place to start. But give me time, and soon Iâll be leaning into your side, head in your lap, eyes closed like Iâve known you forever. So yeah, Iâm not the dog that runs up tail-wagging at first sight. But if youâre patient? Iâll be your most loyal shadow. And if you bring toys and treats? Well, now youâre just speaking my love language.

Breed overview
Overview:
A mongrel, mutt, or mixed-breed dog, is a dog that is not the result of breeding within an existing breed or to modify or create a breed and belongs to no breed. In the United States, the term "mixed-breed" is a favored synonym over "mongrel" among many who wish to avoid negative connotations associated with the latter term. The implication that such dogs must be a mix of defined breeds may stem from an inverted understanding of the origins of dog breeds. Pure breeds have been, for the most part, artificially created from random-bred populations by human selective breeding with the purpose of enhancing desired physical, behavioral, or temperamental characteristics. Dogs that are not purebred are not necessarily a mix of such defined breeds. Therefore, among experts and fans of such dogs, "Mongrel" is still the preferred term.
