Description
Dog Breed: Terrier / Mixed. Meet Sabrina... the 7-year-old who never got the memo that she's supposed to "act her age." This 58-pound sweetheart has the heart (and zoomies!) of a puppy. She's playful, full of life, always ready for an adventure, and will happily keep you laughing with her goofy personality. And if treats are involved? You've officially become her favorite person. Sabrina is VERY food motivated, so she's always eager to learn, play, and show off for a tasty snack! Sabrina came to us from another rescue after her family could no longer care for her, and now she's searching for a home where she can be someone's adventure buddy, cuddle companion, and enthusiastic taste tester. If you're looking for a dog who's equal parts silly, snuggly, and snack-obsessed, Sabrina is ready to fill your days with love, laughter, and plenty of tail wags.

Breed overview
Overview:
A mongrel, mutt, or mixed-breed dog, is a dog that is not the result of breeding within an existing breed or to modify or create a breed and belongs to no breed. In the United States, the term "mixed-breed" is a favored synonym over "mongrel" among many who wish to avoid negative connotations associated with the latter term. The implication that such dogs must be a mix of defined breeds may stem from an inverted understanding of the origins of dog breeds. Pure breeds have been, for the most part, artificially created from random-bred populations by human selective breeding with the purpose of enhancing desired physical, behavioral, or temperamental characteristics. Dogs that are not purebred are not necessarily a mix of such defined breeds. Therefore, among experts and fans of such dogs, "Mongrel" is still the preferred term.
