Please be aware we do not hold dogs until an appointment to meet them is scheduled. Sweetest little boy ever! Approximate DOB 5/25/2025 – He weighs about 5 lbs Toffee along with his siblings Taffy and Tootsie were part of a large hoarding case(Chihuahuas, Miniature Pinschers, Dachshunds, and Toy Fox Terriers). Their mom was a tiny Chihuahua about 6 lbs but we do not know which dog/s was/were the dad/s. This little guy has more of a Dachshund body and is very small. Crate trained and uses a dog door like a champ. Adopter would need to make sure he knows where the dog door is and the rules of the new home. Toffee has a long body, little legs, and large perked ears. He is very outgoing, playful, and very sweet. He should have a very active family that can help him burn off all that energy. He loves toys and is very treat motivated but his favorite things are exploring, following his favorite person around, and cuddling in their arms. If it was up to him he would be held and carried around 24/7. He has been raised with children, dogs, and cats in the foster home and loves everyone he meets. He is an absolute gem who will make a wonderful addition to any family wanting a sweet little boy that loves to snuggle up after a day of exploring. Spayed/neutered, microchipped, and current on all vaccinations - Fee $275 We do welcome out-of-state adoptions. Adopters would need to be able to come out to meet/adopt the pet. If you have other dogs it is recommended you bring them out to the meeting but not required. If you are not ready to adopt (vacation/travel planned and don't want to put your new pet in boarding, in the middle of a move, etc) please wait to schedule an appointment until you are ready. Steps for adoption: Read bio, email to request application or download it from the main website, fill it out completely and email it back, once approved you will receive an email asking you when you would like to come out to meet the pet, schedule an appointment, directions will be emailed or text to you. Adoption fees are cash only.
