Name: Prim Best Guess for Breed: Terrier and lab mix Best Guess for Age: 2 years as of October 2025 SEX: Female Approximate Weight: 40 lbs Gets Along With: Other dogs! We haven't seen her with cats or kids but we are happy to discuss integration techniques with any potential adopters! Currently Living at: DC area foster home Prim is Looking For: Her forever home! This sweet mama did a great job of raising her baby Petey and he's ready for his own family. Now Prim is eager to get her own humans. She's a young girl and looking forward to sniffy walks, romps in parks, and all the adventures her people can dream up. Making pup pals along the way would be great too! What My Foster Says About Me:This sweet girl is all about play, love and snacks - in that order (okay, maybe snacks first). She adores playing with people, other dogs, and entertaining herself like an independent queen. Fetch? Yes please. Tug? Let’s go. Chase games with dog friends? She’s in! When playtime winds down, she’s more than happy to flop over for belly rubs and soak up the affection. Around the house, she’s a velcro girl, she loves being close to her people and will happily follow you from room to room just to keep you company. She can be a little nervous when meeting new people at first, but don’t worry, one tasty treat and her worries melt away. She’s extremely food-motivated, which makes bonding (and training!) a lot of fun. If you’re looking for a playful, affectionate pup who wants to be your best friend, cuddle buddy, and shadow, this girl is ready to steal your heart!
