She came to us from our partner rescue in Louisiana and is now thriving in her New Jersey foster home. From the moment she arrived, Bridget has shown what a truly special soul she is. Bridget adores people and has a gentle, welcoming nature that makes her an instant favorite. She loves greeting new friends with a happy hello (and sometimes a hug!), curling up next to you on the couch, or simply being close to her humans. She’s the perfect mix of playful and laid-back—always happy to enjoy a good walk or trail adventure, then relax by your side for the rest of the day. She enjoys playtime, especially a good game of tug, and occasionally gets short bursts of playful energy with her toys. Bridget is crate trained and mostly house trained, though she’s still learning her routine and may have the occasional accident. She’s also working on her leash manners, as she can pull when she’s excited, and she’ll benefit from basic training since she doesn’t yet know commands. With her sweet temperament and eagerness to please, she’s sure to blossom with a little guidance and consistency. Overall, Bridget is a loving, friendly, and gentle companion who gets along well with everyone she meets.
