Description
Dog Breed: Doberman Pinscher (short coat). Please go to our website for all specific information about this dog. Our info doesn't transfer over to the adoption sites. Auggie came to us from a shelter as a nearly 6 month old who was emaciated, barely able to stand and walk weighing 27 pounds. He had several sets of labs done and nothing indicated a medical reason for his poor condition so it was pure starvation. He's made a complete recovery and weighs a healthy 64 pounds now! He is a young teenager and now that he's healthy, he's active and still doesn't realize his size. So we are saying no kids or they must be savvy teenagers. He walks on leash but has recently started to pull some. He's great with crate training. He will bark when it's time to eat or he needs to potty. We've been trying to wean him off the very high end foods he's been on to get healthy but it's been a very slow transition. Ideally, his new family can keep him on Orijin, Acana or alike food for optimum health. Prior to adoption, our dogs are spayed/neutered, vaccinated, micro-chipped and parasite treated/prevented.
