Dog Breed: American Pit Bull Terrier / Mixed (short coat). Adoption Fee: 500.00. Monica and her siblings found themselves unwanted and abandoned at a high kill shelter in West Texas. They are great with other dogs, and people, but cats are unknown. All dogs and puppies require supervision and training to be successful. Ms Monica is a gentle soul. She is striking with her brindle coat and floppy ears. She is very calm and super smart as well as independent. She is kennel trained and potty trained and we are working on basic obedience and leash training. She rides well in a car. She is dog friendly, kid friendly and people friendly. She has not been around cats but with training she would be fine. She loves playing with her foster human parents and dog siblings but when tuckered out she is perfectly content to snuggle up with a toy or bone on her own. She loves to lay on the couch resting her head on her humans bended knee. She is a perfect lady and would be a great addition to any home.
