Description
Dog Breed: German Shepherd Dog / Labrador Retriever / Mixed. PLEASE NOTE! Unless stated otherwise, our dogs and puppies are located in Arkansas, and transported to the north/northeast once adopted. We do occasionally have dogs/puppies placed in foster homes in the north/northeast. In the cases where the pet is somewhere other than Arkansas, it will be noted beside the name of the pet. 12/27/25 Are you looking for a puppy but not the puppy energy? Look no further! Anni is a low key, low energy pup. She is a gem!! Please share! I have so many more pictures and videos, email us and we’ll send them to you. She is about 6 months old and quite well behaved for her age. She is fairly calm for a puppy but has her moments of playfulness. She likes to cuddle and be held. She will grab a chew toy and entertain herself. She’s pretty easy as far as puppies go! She is almost fully house trained. She is much cuter in real life than the pictures show. She’s also smaller than she looks in pictures. She is currently about 30 pounds so we don’t expect her to get very big. Maybe 40ish full grown? Her Mom is about 50 lbs. *Please note, Anni looks like a Dutch Shepherd but does NOT have the energy of a Dutch Shepherd, just the looks. She is very much a mixed breed. Mom is mixed and dad is unknown. Mom looks like maybe a Lab/Shepherd mixed with who knows what. Anni is likely a mix of many breeds. She is a sweet, happy, friendly baby who is very good with other dogs, cats, and kids. She can be shy at first but warms up. She is food motivated. She is spayed, UTD on age appropriate vaccines, and on flea/tick and heartworm prevention. Breed overview
Overview:
The Sheprador, a popular crossbreed resulting from the union of a German Shepherd Dog and a Labrador Retriever, embodies many desirable traits from both parent breeds. Originating from designer breed efforts to combine the intelligence of the German Shepherd with the Labrador's friendly disposition, these dogs typically boast a medium to large build with a dense, weather-resistant coat that can range in color. Physically, they often exhibit the Shepherd’s strong bone structure and the Lab’s kind eyes. Temperamentally, Shepradors are generally intelligent, loyal, and trainable, making them excellent companions for active families. They thrive on human interaction and do best in homes with a yard, as their energy levels make apartment living challenging without significant daily exercise. While generally healthy, potential health considerations include hip and elbow dysplasia, common to both parent breeds, and eye conditions. Early socialization and consistent training are key to fostering a well-adjusted Sheprador.
