Dog Breed: Labrador Retriever / Mixed. Meet Sammy, a loving and playful black lab retriever mix believed to be 1 years old. Through no fault of her own, Sammy was abandoned and has been living with one of our fosters for 6 months waiting for her forever family. Sadly, once again, our foster is moving out of state and cannot take Sammy with them so she needs to find a new home that will continue loving and training her. She knows basic commands and is very eager to learn. Sammy is curious and smart and responds well to training techniques. Like a true retriever Sammy will play fetch for hours with a frisbee or ball. She loves to play with other dogs and loves everyone she meets. Sammy would fit in well with a family with a backyard where she can run and play and show off her energetic spirit. She is spayed, up to date on vaccines and microchipped.
