Dog Breed: Chihuahua / Mixed (short coat). Little Miss Truly was just rescued from a shelter in Texas by NorthStar. She is such an affectionate little gal - at the shelter she would greet all visitors at the front of her kennel, hoping for a touch or a pet. Truly is about 8 years old and weighs only 9 pounds. She is sight impaired but we believe she can see shadows. Truly has now arrived in NJ and she is settling in at her new foster home. The cats in the home are very interested but still won’t get too close. She enjoys being outside and constantly has her nose up in the or in the grass air to smell things. Truly experienced snow on the grass this morning and she didn’t seem to care. Truly still has her tail tucked most of the time but it’s high in the air with butt scratches or side of the face scratches.
