Dog Breed: Labrador Retriever. Adoption Fee: 300. STAR is a foster-based rescue. All our rescue animals stay in foster homes until adoption. We do not have a central facility. She is about 4–5 years old and has been an amazing mom to her babies — loving, patient and devoted every step of the way. Now that her job is done, it’s her turn to be spoiled and loved forever She’s a sweet chocolate Lab who truly loves everyone she meets. Kids? Yes. Adults? Absolutely. Other dogs? She’s lived with them before and done great! Heartworm negative Up to date on all vetting Friendly, gentle, and affectionate Ready for her forever family Momma Turkey has given so much love and she has plenty more to give. If you’re looking for a loyal, loving companion, she might just be your girl Apply to adopt and give Momma Turkey the happy ending she deserves. Her adoption f ee is $300 and she will come with her collar, leash, treats, toys, some food and other goodies! She is completely vetted, healthy, heartworm negative, on preventions and microchipped. All STAR animals come vetted, Up to Date (UTD) on age appropriate shots and testing, spay and neutered (if of age,) and microchipped. AGE DISCLAIMER: Unfortunately, most of the orphaned animals that come into our rescue looking for homes don’t bring birth certificates. Sometimes we know our pets’ ages. Sometimes we don’t. So we make our best guess based on the condition of their teeth and the veterinarians best guess. BREED DISCLAIMER: Visual breed identification in dogs is unreliable so for most of the dogs we are only guessing at predominant breed or breed mix. We get to know each dog as an individual and will do our best to describe each of our dogs based on personality, not by breed label . Microchips: For the safety of our dogs and peace of mind of our fosters and adopters, STAR microchips all dogs prior to adoption with Petlink Microchips. Please understand that all dogs MUST still wear a collar with ID tags (which include your current information) AT ALL TIMES. Please remember, our foster dogs are extremely important to us-- we will always take any of our dogs back, if for any reason you can't keep your adopted dog. Never surrender him/her to a shelter!
