Description
Dog Breed: Pit Bull Terrier / Mixed (medium coat). Hi, I'm Axel. I'm an energetic dog with a heart full of love. I am known for my friendly demeanor, and I am always eager to greet new faces with a wagging tail. While I am generally friendly with people, I can be a bit barky toward other dogs, but this can be managed with proper training and continued socialization. My playful spirit makes me a great companion for both outdoor adventures and cozy cuddle sessions. Sometimes I forget my own size when I get excited, but my affectionate nature always shines through. I would be an ideal companion for anyone looking to add joy, love, and energy to their family. I have been on a couple of Daycations and done so well. My friends said I was great in the car and lots of fun in the house. Can't you just imagine how incredibly cute I'd look in your house? (So cute)

Breed overview
Overview:
A mongrel, mutt, or mixed-breed dog, is a dog that is not the result of breeding within an existing breed or to modify or create a breed and belongs to no breed. In the United States, the term "mixed-breed" is a favored synonym over "mongrel" among many who wish to avoid negative connotations associated with the latter term. The implication that such dogs must be a mix of defined breeds may stem from an inverted understanding of the origins of dog breeds. Pure breeds have been, for the most part, artificially created from random-bred populations by human selective breeding with the purpose of enhancing desired physical, behavioral, or temperamental characteristics. Dogs that are not purebred are not necessarily a mix of such defined breeds. Therefore, among experts and fans of such dogs, "Mongrel" is still the preferred term.
