Dog Breed: Labrador Retriever / Husky / Mixed (short coat). Rowan is currently in a foster home. He can still be met with and adopted, but by appointment only. Please call the shelter at 972-744-4480 for more information! Notes from Rowan's foster: Rowan does great with other dogs and has made best friends with a little chihuahua mix who lives in the foster home. Rowan has not been destructive when left home alone. Distinguishing Features - beautiful tannish-brown eyes Potty Trained - Yes Crate Trained - Yes Home Environment - At Foster: Lives inside - is potty-trained and mostly crate trained. Loves going for walks or for a romp in the backyard. Does very well on a leash. Social Life - Lives with two other dogs and three adults. Is very submissive and gentle. Very calm and chill for a puppy. Loves dog toys. Behavior/Personality - Calm, gentle, submissive, goofy, wants to please, is smart and could be easily trained. Has already learned to "Sit" when asked, and for treats, and "Go into your house" for crating. He seems to prefer women, is a little shy of men, and is good with children. Very rarely barks.
