Dog Breed: German Shepherd Dog / Collie / Mixed (medium coat). Hi there! Benji here, I am a sweet boy who actually went into a foster home due to my shy behavior. I am happy to announce that I have since graduated from that title to a confident sweet pup! I walk well on the leash, go on pack walks with other dogs, love playing with other furry friends, do well in the crate and I am potty trained. My foster mom wouldn't mind telling you all about my awesome progress and even help you train me for a session after adoption! Here's a snippet of what she has to say - Benji is such a joy to have in our care. He does great with other dogs—both big and small—and truly enjoys being part of a pack. He walks nicely on leash, is crate trained, and is learning place work to help him settle and relax in the home. Benji has been soaking up guidance and showing us how eager he is to learn. With consistency and love, he will continue to thrive. He’s the kind of dog who will make a wonderful companion for a family ready to welcome him and keep building on the foundation he already has.
