Dog Breed: Husky / Shepherd / Mixed. Meet Penny – A Sweet, Gentle Girl with a Calm Personality Hi there! My name is Penny, and I'm a 1-year-old Shepherd/Husky mix weighing around 33 lbs. I came to Rockwall Adoption Center when my previous family had too many animals to care for, and now I'm looking for a loving home where I can continue to build confidence and settle into family life. I'm a very sweet, gentle girl who does well with other dogs and enjoys their company. With people, I'm calm and polite. You can walk right up to me and pet me, and I'll happily accept it—I just don't jump up or get overly excited about attention. I'm more of a quiet, easygoing type who shows affection in soft, subtle ways rather than big, bouncy ones. I am 100% crate trained and find comfort in having my own cozy space. I'm still learning how to walk confidently on a leash and could use help building overall confidence, but I'm eager to learn and will do best with a family who offers encouragement and consistency. My adoption fee is $125. I am spayed, microchipped, current on my rabies and core vaccines, and heartworm negative. RAC completes this procedure at the age of 12 weeks. If you are adopting a pet under the age of 12 weeks or an animal that has not yet been spayed or neutered, you will be required to return the pet to our facility on the agreed upon date set at the time of adoption. This policy is non-negotiable and violation of this health code is a criminal offense.
