Ivy needs to go to a home with a resident dog to show her the ropes. Ivy is Looking For: Ivy is a sato - a dog from Puerto Rico. She's eager to get her forever family in the DC area. Long sniffy walks, romps in parks, all the adventures her new humans can dream up - yes, please! Burning all that awesome young-dog energy while exploring her new area and playing with pup pals are high on her wish list. But right at the top is knowing she's safe and loved, where she belongs. What My Foster Says About Me: Ivy is everything you could want in a puppy. She is sweet as pie, snuggly and playful. Very friendly and confident with both people and dogs. She spends her time at our house playing with our dog, relaxing on the couch, and approaching us for a snuggle/pet. Our kids love her because she is friendly and likes to lick and snuggle. She is quickly learning to go outside to pee even without training. She walks very nicely on a leash. This dog will make a great companion, fun, loving and friendly!
