Animal Control was dispatched for a young pup chained to a tree — no food, no water, no shelter… just a baby trying to survive. A few days later, another call came in for a loose dog. When officers arrived, they realized it was the same little pup, still alone, still trying to figure out his world. This time, they scooped him up and brought him to safety — and that’s when his real story began. And what a boy he’s become. For greater distances, MAD does offer transport assistance for up to 350 miles for the adopter, however transport is primarily on the responsibility of the adopter.
