Dog Breed: Husky / Shepherd / Mixed (medium coat). Adoption Fee: 300. Meet Virginia and Maine! This bonded pair came to us looking like skeletons. It was truly painful to look at them and we can only imagine the hell they lived through. Despite that, they are the sweetest dogs you will ever meet. It literally brought tears to our eyes when they felt good enough to start to play. They are either siblings or mother and daughter and you never find one without the other. They are extremely bonded and they must be adopted together. They are quiet, sweet, affectionate, and great with dogs. They LOVE to play with each other & love toys. They are extremely treat motivated & are extremely smart. They catch treats & will sit, stay & shake for a treat! They are good in their crates but their main goal in life is to be couch potatoes. They think they are lapdogs & feel fully comfortable sitting in your lap together. They also give excellent kisses! They love attention and prance around the house… tails going a mile a minute… every time you put Jammie’s on them! You’ve never seen anything so cute. If you’re looking for two older dogs who are very low-key and very easy, apply to adopt these girls today. They are part of our Senior Soulmates Program. If they are adopted by a senior citizen, a generous donor will sponsor her adoption fee. All of our dogs are spayed or neutered, up to date on age appropriate vaccinations, microchipped and if over 6 months of age, heartworm tested and on heartworm preventative in their foster home. We require an approved application to meet any of our dogs. We do not have a shelter location and will not arrange a meeting without an approved application. We strive to make sure the bios provided for our dogs are complete and accurate; we do understand that mistakes happen, however, so if you absolutely cannot find the answer to your question in the dog's bio, you can contact us for more information. We require a home visit for each dog we adopt out, so we adopt within a 2 hour radius of Dayton, OH. If you are outside of this radius, we encourage you to contact your local rescue or shelter.
