Dog Breed: Catahoula Leopard Dog / Mixed (short coat). Meet Orieana Orieana is a 2-year-old Catahoula hound mix with a heart as big as her story. We’ve known her since she was just an itty-bitty puppy, and while she was once adopted, she sadly found her way back to us a year later. She’s now been waiting almost another year, patiently hoping for the right person to finally give her the forever home she deserves. This girl is truly something special. Orieana has wonderful manners and a gentle, loving nature. She’s incredibly social—she lights up when meeting new people and forms deep, meaningful bonds with her humans. Because she loves so hard, she can be a little protective of those she’s closest to, but it comes from a place of pure devotion. She enjoys playing with other dogs and would love a canine companion, though she does best when toys aren’t shared. More than anything, Orieana just wants to be loved and included. After being overlooked for so long, this sweet girl is more than ready for her second chance. She’s been waiting patiently for someone to see her for who she is—a loyal, affectionate, and deserving companion. Orieana isn’t just looking for a home… she’s waiting for her person. Prior to meeting an adoptable animal we do require an approved application to be on file, sorry for this inconvenience. Cat adoption fees are $50 for kittens under 16 weeks of age and $75 for kittens/cats over 16 weeks of age. Dog adoption fees are $150 for puppies under 16 weeks of age and $175 for dogs over 16 weeks of age.
