Dog Breed: Black Labrador Retriever / American Pit Bull Terrier / Mixed (short coat). Storm is a beautiful and silly 3 year old pittie-lab mix looking for her forever home. Storm was surrendered to the rescue through no fault of her own, as their owner is currently receiving medical treatment. She is now in a loving NJ foster home. She has adjusted quickly in her foster home! She loves playing with other dogs (big and small!) and would do great in a home with another playful pup to run around with. Storm is people and kid friendly. She is very interested in cats and would need slow, supervised introductions. She can be initially skeptical of men, but her love can quickly be bought with treats! Storm is fully house trained and great in the car. She is learning basic commands and working on polite greetings. She loves giving kisses, going for walks, and is happy to accompany you on any adventure! At the end of the day, she will snuggle up next to you to watch your favorite show or movie. Storm would thrive with an active family or individual who enjoys daily walks and playtime and can give her all the love she deserves.
