Description
Dog Breed: Pit Bull Terrier (medium coat). This land hippo is so gregarious, you can't help but want to be anywhere he is! He's superfriendly- making sure to say hello by leaping into your personal space with a big grin and an open heart. As an athlete, he's more of a linebacker than a receiver. He likes to run a bit(moderate pace) and play, but mostly enjoys it when you're in the game with him. He loves to get scratches and attention, especially if it involves prolonged affectionate eye contact. Not sure why, but he really seemed to like that. When he's ready for a break, he'll take himself over into a sunny spot and ponder al lof life's mysteries, embracing his inner philosopher. Zuko is going to be a fantastic soul dog for someone. He's going to attach ,commit, and dedicate himself to his human(s) and be there for them no matter what. He may also steal about half the couch, knock over stuff from any low tables, and be right next to you in the kitchen causing a possible tripping hazard, but it's all just because that's how he shows love. If you think you are ready to receive that much love from this big a bundle-head into #burbankanimalshelter and prepare yourself for cartoon hearts to burst out of your chest.

Breed overview
Overview:
A mongrel, mutt, or mixed-breed dog, is a dog that is not the result of breeding within an existing breed or to modify or create a breed and belongs to no breed. In the United States, the term "mixed-breed" is a favored synonym over "mongrel" among many who wish to avoid negative connotations associated with the latter term. The implication that such dogs must be a mix of defined breeds may stem from an inverted understanding of the origins of dog breeds. Pure breeds have been, for the most part, artificially created from random-bred populations by human selective breeding with the purpose of enhancing desired physical, behavioral, or temperamental characteristics. Dogs that are not purebred are not necessarily a mix of such defined breeds. Therefore, among experts and fans of such dogs, "Mongrel" is still the preferred term.
