Dog Breed: Collie / Australian Shepherd / Mixed (long coat). Don't forget!! We are currently open by appointment only. This is to control the traffic in the building at one time. If you would like to look at the cats/dogs for adoption, or if you need to relinquish or to do any other business, please message our FB page or call us at 304-267-8389 to schedule an appointment. If you see a specific pet for adoption on our FB page we can always set up a specific meet and greet for that as well. **From Bron's previous adopter..... Hi, we had adopted Bron. He is the sweetest boy and LOVES people. He is house broken, great on leash and very calm. He had tested well with our dog at the Humane Society which is why we had taken him, but is very possessive (primarily with food/treats) in the house and needs to be in a home where he is the ONLY DOG. He does however seem fine with dogs outside the house. We did not interact him with any cats, but was walked around the cat room at the Humane Society and didn’t seem to care about them. He will be a great dog for someone and we really hope he finds a wonderful home because he deserves it. See Bron in action on our FB page!!** This very handsome chunky boy is Bron. He is a 7 yr. old Collie/Australian Shepherd mix. Bron is the SWEETEST boy....80 lbs. of LOVE!! He came in our front office and rolled over belly up for everyone to give him belly rubs!! He needs to be the only dog in his new home. Adoption fee... $175, cash or credit card, includes spay/neuter, microchip and first shots. Mon.-Sat. 10-4 We understand not everyone can adopt a pet. Some homes are full, some homes do not allow certain pets and some have lifestyles that can't handle a pet right now. You can still help. Sharing pictures on FB, volunteering, or just coming in and sponsoring part of the adoption fee for when the pet is adopted. This helps a lot. No amount is too small to donate towards the adoption fee. If you would like to help sponsor, speak to one of the staff. Especially the cats and kittens need help (since we usually have so many!)
