Dog Breed: Shetland Sheepdog Sheltie / Mixed (medium coat). Helen is a very sweet girl, who just loves snuggles. She's very chill and easy-going. She loves exploring and has a bit of an independent side too! She loves kids and doesn't mind them picking her up and giving her big hugs! She cannot wait to find her forever family! Adoption fee includes: Full veterinary exam, Alter, Prepaid microchip, Dewormed, Rabies vaccine (if age appropriate), Distemper combo vaccine(s) appropriate to age, Bordetella vaccine, 4DX (over 6 months of age), Flea/tick and heartworm preventative while in rescue. A mongrel, mutt, or mixed-breed dog, is a dog that is not the result of breeding within an existing breed or to modify or create a breed and belongs to no breed. In the United States, the term "mixed-breed" is a favored synonym over "mongrel" among many who wish to avoid negative connotations associated with the latter term. The implication that such dogs must be a mix of defined breeds may stem from an inverted understanding of the origins of dog breeds.
