Dog Breed: Bulldog / Rhodesian Ridgeback / Mixed (medium coat). Canela came to the shelter alongside her friend Kiwi (A051883) after their owner sadly passed away, and sheâs been winning hearts ever since. This medium sized sweetheart is great on a leash and very easy to handle, making outings with her a breeze. Sheâs happy to amuse herself, but sheâs also incredibly friendly and always ready to reconnect with you. Canela knows how to sit on command and absolutely loves treats, which she takes gently from your hand (Though fair warning - if thereâs a snack within reach, she may try to help herself!). Sheâs not much interested in toys, but she doesnât need them - affection is her favorite reward. With her lower energy level and calm, gentle nature, Canela is perfectly content to stay right by your side for as long as youâll pet her.
