Dog Breed: Pit Bull Terrier / Labrador Retriever / Mixed. Gingerbread is a very loveable chunky girl. She does well on walks and is food motivated. She appears to know how to Sit, lay down and shake when treats are involved. She really loves her treats and a soft fuzzy blanket. She also displays evidence of housetraining. 6-year-old spayed female Labrador Retriever mix, arrived at the shelter on 11/18/25 as a boarding animal (owner known but unclaimed) FIFTH LONGEST RESIDENT!!!!! Medium size Medium/low energy Consistent evidence of housetraining Gingerbread is an older and very sweet girl who is easy to take for a walk. She would be a good companion in an apartment, as long as there is a couch large enough for two. She gets worked up in her kennel when another dog is walked past, but outside on the leash she has had very positive interactions with other dogs. Because of her housetraining and relatively low energy, Gingerbread seems like she would be an easy dog to transition into a home; after all, before coming to the shelter she was living in one for six years.
