Their thick coat, which can be smooth or rough, is typically a striking combination of white with patches of red, mahogany, or brindle. Temperamentally, Saint Bernards are renowned for their calm, patient, and affectionate nature, making them excellent companions and remarkably tolerant with children, earning them the nickname "nanny dog."
