Description
Dog Breed: Labrador Retriever / Great Pyrenees. Look at me look at me where the cutest little sisters he ever did see! My name is Sage and my sister's name is Aspen. We came from Blue Ridge, Georgia and now are being fostered by Miss Kaye who is very experienced with Puppies. We are what you call a larger breed puppy. I’m the darker colored one and my sister has the eyebrows. My sister’s name is Aspen. Her fur is a little bit lighter. I weigh 33 pounds and my sister weighs 36. We're about four months old and are looking for our forever home. If we can go together, that would be great but we do understand that sometimes one big dog is enough. Miss Kaye said we're very smart and lovable. I play with her Husky and another Pup that's about a year old. She also has a cat. We are a mixture of great Pyrenees, Labrador and maybe some Husky. WE THINK? All of these are excellent qualities and loyal smart dogs. Guess what? I’m already crate trained and housebroken. Safe Pet Project found out about us and knew we needed a home. So they jumped on it and found us a wonderful Foster. We will be up for adoption in a few weeks. We had a complete check up, and all our vaccinations. We need one more booster in mid January. We are ready for adoption right before Christmas. We will have to be stayed probably mid summer and Safe Pet Project will pay for this along with micro chipping using Nottely Oaks animal Hospital. Also, I'm good with kids. My adoption fee is $150 which is a fantastic deal. I'll have all of my vaccinations for one year, I will be spayed when Dr. Lynn says I'm old enough, I will be microchipped at time of spay. All of this for only $150. Just in time for Santa Claus to bring me to a fabulous home If you are interested, please contact Safe Pet Project in Blairsville, Georgia. Overview:
The Labrador Retriever, a beloved and highly popular breed, originated in Newfoundland, Canada, where they were initially bred to assist fishermen by retrieving nets and stray fish. Physically, they are medium-to-large dogs, known for their strong, athletic build, short, dense, weather-resistant double coat (commonly seen in black, yellow, or chocolate), and their distinctive "otter" tail. Temperamentally, Labs are celebrated for their friendly, outgoing, and good-natured disposition, making them exceptional family companions. Their intelligence and eagerness to please contribute to their trainability, though they do require consistent exercise to prevent boredom and destructive behaviors. While adaptable, their energy levels make them more suited to homes with yards, or highly active families, rather than apartment living, unless daily extensive exercise is guaranteed. Regarding health, Labs can be prone to certain conditions like hip and elbow dysplasia, and some eye conditions, so responsible breeding practices are crucial. Overall, their loyalty, versatility, and affectionate nature firmly establish the Labrador Retriever as a wonderful addition to many households.
