Description
Dog Breed: Greyhound. Gilbert is a one-year-old, very handsome boy from Oman and is a Wadi dog. Wadi dogs are from the wadis (dry riverbeds) of Oman. They are typically stray dogs that live in groups and are generally non-aggressive survivors who avoid police interdiction. They are believed to be a mix of Saluki and other sighthound types. Gilbert was in a foster home in Oman and is in foster care here with GFNJ. He is good with other dogs and cats. He does like to play and might enjoy a fenced yard although he does walk nicely on leash. His foster dad in Oman said, "He is just the sweetest boy who will love you."
