Please read our Frequently Asked Questions and Adoption Processed Explained documentation. _________ B I O ______________ Name: Nefertiti Size: (Once fully grown) ~ Medium range: 26-60 lbs Adoption Donation: $250 (applicable sales tax included) PLUS a $100 deposit is required and is to be refunded once proof of spay/neuter is provided to this rescue. Our adoption contract requires all dogs to be spayed/neutered within ONE Month of adoption or when age-appropriate. Adoption fees may be paid by cash or check.  Other:   Intact Female , Vaccinations current, Microchip Puppies generally need the following veterinary care after their adoption: 8 Weeks: Distemper/Parvo & Bordetella Vaccinations. 4 Luv of Dog Rescue completes these vaccinations before adoption. 12 Weeks: Distemper/Parvo Vaccination completed at the veterinarian of adopter's choice. 16 Weeks: Distemper/Parvo & Rabies Vaccinations completed at the veterinarian of adopter's choice. 6 Months: Spay/Neuter surgery. ** Yearly thereafter: All dogs need yearly wellness exams performed by a veterinarian as well as booster vaccinations. **Spay/Neuter surgeries cost between $200-$400 for a neuter surgery and $400-$600 for a spay surgery in the FM Area. Wellness visits can run from $75 to $150 for each visit. If you are thinking of adopting a puppy, it's a good idea to research these costs before adopting by calling the veterinarian of your choice. Nefertiti thinks she is a lap dog ! She is a chewer but easily redirected with her assortment of toys. Cuddling is her super power. Potty training is going well and she knows how to use a pee pad.Nefertiti is very curious and likes to know what you are doing at all times.Nefertiti sleeps most of the night either on her blanket or next to me .I use a crate to feed her and she likes to hang out in there with the door open .
