Dog Breed: Husky / Mixed. Age: two years Weight: 70 lbs Meet Rookie! He's house and crate trained and does great on the leash. He's playful and loves exercise making him a great addition for an active family. Rookie is great with other dogs and older kids. He's not "bad" with cats but will playfully chase them. Rookie is well behaved and been professionally trained but is having difficulty breaking his habit of jumping on people when he gets excited. For this reason we think he would do best in a home with old kids, if any. He is neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, and heartworm negative. His adoption fee is $275 and you can apply to meet him here: Adoption Application - Legacy Humane Society We do not have a facility to house the dogs in our program. They are all kept in foster homes until they are adopted.
