Description
Dog Breed: American Pit Bull Terrier (short coat). Mazie is with our rescue partner in Louisiana and can come to NJ if we find a foster or adopter. She is having her heartworm treatment in LA but ready to come to NJ 1/15/2026. Mazie is a 35-pound sweetheart with a friendly, loving personality. She is leash trained, crate trained, and fully housetrained, making her an easy companion to welcome into your home. Mazie is obedient, affectionate, and playful, and she enjoys toys and spending time with her people. She does well with other dogs and is okay with cats. Her comfort level with kids is currently unknown. With her gentle nature and happy spirit, Mazie would make a wonderful addition to a loving family. Mazie is up to date on vaccines and is fixed. His adoption fee is $450. Adopting a dog is a commitment that will require annual veterinary care at a minimum, training, exercise, enrichment, etc. Pet care is not cheap or easy and adopters should consider the costs, time and training prior to adoption.
