Dog Breed: Labrador Retriever / Mixed (short coat). Percy will be arriving in NJ on 1/10. Meet Percy- the definition of a "good boy" At just 1 year old and 57 pounds of golden lab love, Percy is everything you could hope for in a furry best friend. He's the total package: friendly, gentle, and just perfect. he keeps a spotless kennel (we're pretty sure he is housetrained) walks great on a leash, he does a little happy crisscross dance but doesn't pull loves people, adores other dogs and kids and is fine with cats. Percy is the kind of dog that just fits- the one who greets you with a wagging tail and lots of love! Percy is fixed, up to date on vaccines. Percy tested positive for heartworm and has begun treatment. We are looking for a foster to complete his treatment here in NJ with 2 visits to Barnegat Animal Clinic. His adoption fee will be $450. Adopting a dog is a commitment that will require annual veterinary care at a minimum, training, exercise, enrichment, etc. Pet care is not cheap or easy and adopters should consider the costs, time and training prior to adoption.
