Kashi is the cutest little fluffy puppy you’ve ever seen—if she doesn’t make you sigh and feel warm and fuzzy on sight, then we don’t know what will! She’s gentle, playful, and very affectionate, with a soft, calm nature that makes her easy to adore. One of Kashi’s most endearing habits? When the door opens for her to go outside to potty, she pauses to give her friends kisses before heading out. It’s a daily reminder of just how loving she is. Kashi does show some resource guarding around other dogs during feeding time, so it’s best to feed her separately while she continues to build comfort and confidence. With proper management and positive training, this is very workable—especially since she’s still young and eager to learn. She’s likely to grow into a large dog, which makes early training and consistency especially important. Starting now will help her grow into a confident, well-mannered adult. Kashi has all the makings of a wonderful companion for a home ready to guide a growing puppy with patience and structure. Kashi is from Texas. They arrive in Minnesota on 1/10 and will need to be picked up from the Ruff Start Rescue office in Princeton, MN between the hours of 8am-Noon. Please plan for their arrival accordingly as we cannot accommodate pickups outside of this time frame. Since they haven’t arrived yet, they are available exclusively through Ruff Start’s Foster to Adopt (FTA) Program. Click here to learn more about the FTA program. Once they get to Minnesota, they might require further veterinary care. Ruff Start’s veterinary suite is located in Princeton, MN, and, as the foster, you will be required to transport your dog to and from these vetting appointments.
