Dog Breed: Australian Cattle Dog/Blue Heeler / Dachshund / Mixed. Adoption Fee: 600. Vixen is a gentle, affectionate little lady who loves being close to her people. She soaks up attention, and is ready to learn how to be the best dog she can be! Vixen enjoys playtime and has a special love for water, she also does great in the car, making her an excellent candidate for adventures or trips with her future family. She comes from a litter of eight born to a stray in Texas and has been growing in confidence as she explores the world. One thing to note: Vixen is afraid of cats, she is a puppy and may outgrow this, however be prepared to separate if you have a cat, and know time will need to be given to allow her to acclimate. She is gentle by nature and thrives in an environment where she feels safe and supported. With her affectionate personality, calm play style, and easygoing travel manners, Vixen will make a loving and loyal addition to the right home. Vixen is from Texas. They arrive in Minnesota on 1/10 and will need to be picked up from the Ruff Start Rescue office in Princeton, MN between the hours of 8am-Noon. Please plan for their arrival accordingly as we cannot accommodate pickups outside of this time frame. Since they haven’t arrived yet, they are available exclusively through Ruff Start’s Foster to Adopt (FTA) Program. Click here to learn more about the FTA program. Once they get to Minnesota, they might require further veterinary care. Ruff Start’s veterinary suite is located in Princeton, MN, and, as the foster, you will be required to transport your dog to and from these vetting appointments.
