Dog Breed: Poodle (Miniature) / Mixed (medium coat). Adoption Fee: 450.00. All dogs listed here are available for adoption from Yorkie Rescue Houston. Our goal is to ensure our rescued pets go to their forever home and never end up back in the system. To that end, an application is required on all potential adopters. Our adoption fee varies by dog. A FTA contract is required. Cora was surrendered to BARC animal shelter to be euthanized by her 'family' They were BYB (breeders) who had no problem making money off her puppies but didn't have ANY money to get this little momma the medical care she needed after birthing puppies and presented with a prolapsed uterus. In true greeder fashion, they kept the puppies and threw mom in the trash. We immediately tagged/pulled her and drove her straight to our vet who graciously stayed late to perform her emergency spay. Her life was save and her recovery is going well. Cora is a delightful little girl who loves cuddles. She gets along with other dogs and kids. She is non-reactive to cats.
