He can be a little timid at first, but underneath that shyness is the sweetest heart. With patience, kindness, and consistency, he’s learning that the world isn’t such a scary place—and his confidence grows every day. He does well on a leash and is currently working on “sit” and “leave it,” showing how smart and eager he is to learn. Once you earn his trust, you’ll see his true personality shine: he becomes a 60-lb lap dog who loves being close to his person and soaking up affection. He would thrive in a supportive home with someone willing to go at his pace and celebrate the small wins. In return, you’ll get a loyal companion, a devoted shadow, and a big softie who just wants to feel safe and loved. Our home address is in Michigan, however, the majority of our dogs are not located in Michigan. The physical location of each our our dogs is posted with the name of the pet or in the title area. If you are within 4 hours of the pet, please be prepared to pick the pet up. We do provide transport assistance up to 350 miles. The applicant must drive the remainder of the distance of the transport.
