Description

Dog Breed: Mountain Cur / Terrier / Mixed (short coat). Chance was born around June 23, 2024 and weighs about 50 pounds. Chance rides well in the car and walks ok on leash. Chance plays beautifully with the other dogs about his size or larger as he can be a bit of a rough player. He has also done well with cats, but please ask us to do another cat test if you're interested in adopting him and have a cat at home. Chance is deeply affectionate and very people-oriented. Belly rubs, ear scratches, and attention of any kind are always welcome, and he will happily ask for more. Chance may jump up on you when really happy to see you, and we are working on that behavior. He sleeps in his own bed at night, but loves to snuggle on couches or beds when given the opportunity. Chance does love interactive toy play with his human or another dog. When discussing the possibilities of Chance's breed pool we searched photos and truly feel he seems very similar to the Mountain Curs but since they are a bit unusual there is likely some Pit in him mixed with several other breeds, maybe Aussie, Husky or Collie???? The adoption fee for this dog is $450.00. Adoptions fees vary based on adoptability. In general our fees include spay/neuter, all age appropriate vaccines, Home Again micro-chipping & registration, worming & flea control - a "complete" pet. We accept CASH or Visa/Mastercard ONLY. Joyful Rescues has no funding except for our adoption fees and miscellaneous donations. Pet care and vet bills are expensive - you must be ready to take on this financial (as well as emotional) responsibility.
