Matilda was cruelly hurt, but thanks to quick rescue, amazing veterinary care, and her incredible will to live, she survived—and we were even able to save her eye. Today, she is safe, loved, and SO grateful for every gentle hand, kind word, and soft bed she’s been given. Matilda is the definition of resilience. Despite everything, she is nothing but love. She absolutely adores kids, is wonderful with other dogs, and has the kindest, most gentle soul. She is currently being fostered in a home with cats and is still learning about life with cats, but she's adjusting well! (She was initially afraid of them!) She’s playful, affectionate, and the kind of dog who looks at you with gratitude in her eyes every single day. She hasn’t let her past define her—she’s just waiting for someone to love.
