Dog Breed: Red Heeler / Mixed (short coat). Adoption Fee: $200. Meet Marsh, a handsome one-year-old (estimated) Red Heeler blend with a heart as big as his personality. Marsh’s journey began back in November when he and his devoted canine companion, Coral, were found as strays near Conesville. Though they were never claimed by an owner, they were lucky enough to be taken in by kind finders who cared for them deeply. While their finders loved them, they weren't able to keep them long-term because their resident dog didn't quite see eye-to-eye with this duo. Now, Marsh is looking for a fresh start with a family. Marsh is a typical young Heeler—active, alert, and always eager for attention. Whether it’s a game of fetch or a long walk, he thrives on activity and being close to his people. Upon his arrival, Marsh was initially a bit reserved, but he has transformed into a true gentleman who has opened up and discovered a genuine love for being around his people. He has become quite the adventurer, and has successfully embarked on a few field trips and community outings. While he appreciates a moment to settle in, he has shown to thrive once he's comfortable in his surroundings. This sweet, eager-to-please fella perfectly balances the alert intelligence of a Heeler with a social spark that warms every room he enters.
