Dog Breed: Beagle. Money-Penny is a 30 pound, 10 years young spayed, and actually a chocolate tri, meaning mostly white with tan and brown, and light brown eyes. MP is a beautiful girl that came from a nice family that spent quality time and has shown her the love that these angels deserve. MP's mom unfortunately passed away not too long ago. Her adult children cared for her the best they could and brought her to B&B to find her forever home. Money is, for the most part, an independent, loving and playful companion. She is house and leash trained; absolutely adores her humans, gets along and plays with her animal pals. She's currently hanging out with Harlow who she liked immediately upon arriving, and also came from a home with felines. For her age she is in good health, tho we have been informed she may have Cushing's and needs further medicals to know for sure. So we will be getting her into our vet as soon as they have an opening to do a complete blood panel and dental and will post any updates as we get them. We know the value and comfort of a loving pet companion and are doing our best to help the dogs and folks who need them. All our dogs are spayed/neutered, microchipped, and fully vaccinated before adoption; they have been wormed, bathed, socialized, walked daily and much loved; each adoptee leaves with a leash, collar, and all medical records. Our prices are higher than the shelters' because we nurse the dogs through their illnesses and get them needed surgeries and dentals. We also spend time socializing. Furthermore, unlike shelters, rescues do not get financial aid from the government and must rely on donations, grants, and adoption fees. Our fees for adults start at $150 and usually go up to $750. Young adults that are high in demand may be a little over $750.00. For puppies and purebreds, we charge up to $1000. The lower end is for dogs who have been here a while. The good news is that, because rescues fall under the "charity" category, the fees for our dogs are officially donations and are therefore tax deductible. You can think of it as donating to a worthy cause and getting a dog in return! Sponsor Me Beagles & Buddies must find ways to raise money so we can continue saving dogs.
