Dog Breed: Shepherd / Mixed. An 8-puppy litter? Yup! That's what we're saying. Three-month-old Shepherd mixes, they are a fine bunch of siblings! They presently weigh about 6 pounds and will mature to a fine grown-up of around 50 pounds. They love playing, especially when goys are involved, of course. These babies are true lovers of loving. Make sense? Their names are: Bella, Brenda, Becca, Blair, Bluey, Bridget, Banana, and Bebe. B pups with A+ personalities. Can't go wrong here! (posted 12/29/25, ME) Adoption Fee: $395.00-- covers microchip, worming, all vaccines, monthly heart worm preventative, monthly tick/flea preventative, spaying/neutering, health certificate, and complete medical records. Transport Fee: $160.00-- We consider the transport to be of great importance and, as such, take particular care of the dogs during the trip. We make every effort to arrive with healthy and minimally stressed dogs. **It is rare that we know with certainty the ages or mixes that make up our dogs, but we do our best to be as accurate as possible based upon our experience. **

A mongrel, mutt, or mixed-breed dog, is a dog that is not the result of breeding within an existing breed or to modify or create a breed and belongs to no breed. In the United States, the term "mixed-breed" is a favored synonym over "mongrel" among many who wish to avoid negative connotations associated with the latter term. The implication that such dogs must be a mix of defined breeds may stem from an inverted understanding of the origins of dog breeds. Pure breeds have been, for the most part, artificially created from random-bred populations by human selective breeding with the purpose of enhancing desired physical, behavioral, or temperamental characteristics. Dogs that are not purebred are not necessarily a mix of such defined breeds. Therefore, among experts and fans of such dogs, "Mongrel" is still the preferred term.
