Mookee, male, 1yr old Hound mix, weighs 57lbs Mookee is a fun-loving hound mix with the best of both worlds—he’s happy to lounge around all day soaking up cuddles, but he’s also always up for playtime or an outdoor adventure. He has never had an accident in the house and is fully kennel trained, making him an easy addition to any home. Mookee adores his people and gets along great with other dogs. He’s a total snuggle bug who loves being close to his humans. Outside, he enjoys exploring and going for walks and is currently working on perfecting his leash manners. Best of all, everyone who meets Mookee absolutely falls in love with him. He’s sweet, affectionate, and ready to be someone’s loyal best friend. We are located at S47 W30760 State Road 59, North Prairie, WI As always, we never guarantee the breed OR the size they'll be as an adult. Overview:
A mongrel, mutt, or mixed-breed dog, is a dog that is not the result of breeding within an existing breed or to modify or create a breed and belongs to no breed. In the United States, the term "mixed-breed" is a favored synonym over "mongrel" among many who wish to avoid negative connotations associated with the latter term. The implication that such dogs must be a mix of defined breeds may stem from an inverted understanding of the origins of dog breeds. Pure breeds have been, for the most part, artificially created from random-bred populations by human selective breeding with the purpose of enhancing desired physical, behavioral, or temperamental characteristics. Dogs that are not purebred are not necessarily a mix of such defined breeds. Therefore, among experts and fans of such dogs, "Mongrel" is still the preferred term.
