Description
Dog Breed: Unknown breed / mixed. Casserole, or Caz/Cazzie, is a 14-week-old mixed breed with the sweetest, most affectionate personality. He loves being close to his people and is happiest when he’s right next to you, giving kisses and soaking up all the snuggles. He’s doing great with crate training — Caz sleeps through the night in his crate with no accidents. He’s still working on potty training and may have a few accidents in the house, but he continues to improve with a consistent routine. Caz does great with dogs, cats, and kids. He’s social, gentle, and loves being part of whatever is happening around him. One of his cutest features is his perky ears that fold over and point toward whatever he’s listening to, always curious and tuned in. If you’re looking for a loving, cuddly puppy who wants to be your constant companion, Casserole would be a perfect fit.

Breed overview
Overview:
A mongrel, mutt, or mixed-breed dog, is a dog that is not the result of breeding within an existing breed or to modify or create a breed and belongs to no breed. In the United States, the term "mixed-breed" is a favored synonym over "mongrel" among many who wish to avoid negative connotations associated with the latter term. The implication that such dogs must be a mix of defined breeds may stem from an inverted understanding of the origins of dog breeds. Pure breeds have been, for the most part, artificially created from random-bred populations by human selective breeding with the purpose of enhancing desired physical, behavioral, or temperamental characteristics. Dogs that are not purebred are not necessarily a mix of such defined breeds. Therefore, among experts and fans of such dogs, "Mongrel" is still the preferred term.
