Description
Dog Breed: Bloodhound. Waylon is a handsome almost 2 years old Bloodhound who was raised on 10 acres of land with his brother Rufus, but due to the family moving to a house without a yard, both boys were surrendered to our rescue. He loves to play, loves water and will gladly take any attention as well as praise that you can give him! He had been walked on a leash is picking it up fairly quickly and has since learned to sit and give his paw on command! He needs a yard with a fence because he is known to try to escape his nighttime kennel but he’s a good-looking fella who needs a home and family and land of his very own! While their calm demeanor might suggest apartment living is possible, their need for significant outdoor exercise and a secure yard to prevent them from following a scent trail makes them better suited to homes with space. Health-wise, they can be prone to hip and elbow dysplasia, as well as bloat, making careful breeding and proper diet crucial.
