Please apply online at texasgreatdane/adoption-application/ ** Meet Pineapple Pineapple is a 1-year-old, 28-pound Beagle with a sweet personality and a whole lot of love to give. She truly loves everyone she meets and is wonderful with other dogs, cats, and kids, making her an easy fit for many different families. She’s doing great with her training—Pineapple is kennel trained, making excellent progress with housebreaking, and already has the dog door mastered. She’s a smart girl who’s eager to please and settling nicely into routines. Pineapple does have one important quirk to know about: if left outside unattended, she may try to dig her way out (classic Beagle behavior!). Because of this, she would do especially well in an apartment or indoor-focused home, or a home where outdoor time is always supervised. Please understand you are committing to providing a good home for her entire life (up to 15+ years or more.) You must be committed to housebreaking, age-appropriate enrichment and exercise, leash training, grooming needs, and positive socialization. Her adoption fee is $250. This includes her spay surgery, rabies vaccination, Nobivac® Canine 1-DAPP vaccination, Nobivac® Intra-Trac 3 vaccination, Drontal® Plus, IDEXX SNAP® 4Dx Plus Test, Tri-Heart® Plus chewable tablet, 24PetWatch® microchip, and leash and collar. Our adoption events are held every other Saturday at Petco located in the Northwoods Shopping Center at 18138 San Pedro Ave, San Antonio TX 78232. Our group focuses on assisting open admission shelters in South Texas where over 32,000 dogs and cats are euthanized each year. Our puppies and dogs are completely vetted and live in foster homes. They are spayed/neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, dewormed, and tested for heartworm disease. All adoptions include one month of flea and heartworm preventative and a leash and collar.
