On a recent day trip, Dante showed himself to be a great adventure companion. He loaded into the car easily, rode well, and enthusiastically kicked things off with plenty of kisses. During a long walk in the country, Dante was very curious about the world around him. He took in new sights with interest, including a close encounter with a herd of cows. Like many dogs, he can become a bit vocal and excited when faced with unfamiliar animals or passing dogs, but he was responsive and easy to redirect. Dante would do best with an experienced handler who can provide structure, consistency, and continued guidance. Due to his tendency to become overstimulated in certain situations, he may not be the best fit for a home with small children.
