Dog Breed: American Pit Bull Terrier / Mixed (short coat). Adoption Fee: 275. Hi I’m Scotch Pine, but my foster mom calls me Scotty. She also says I’m the most handsome and friendliest guy! I haven’t met a stranger yet and I never bark when people come to visit. I do get very excited and my whole body will wiggle. Speaking of barking, I only bark to let you know that I have to go potty in the morning at around 8.30 and when I want to get my 4 legged foster sister to play, but shes deaf so that doesnt always work out for me. I sleep in my crate all night and when I have to go potty during day time, I’ll go to the back door to let you know. I love playing with aaaall the toys. But I’m not all play I also love to snuggle. I think that’s my favorite thing to do. If you like to go for walks and hikes I’m all for that too. They are great. I’ve met a lot of people and dogs on my walks and they all tell me I’m a good boy. Oh, I know some tricks already. Sit, shake and down! My foster mom is teaching me to wait and I do, most of the time. I’d love to meet you and show you all the things I know. All of our dogs are spayed or neutered, up to date on age appropriate vaccinations, microchipped and if over 6 months of age, heartworm tested and on heartworm preventative in their foster home. We require an approved application to meet any of our dogs. We do not have a shelter location and will not arrange a meeting without an approved application. We strive to make sure the bios provided for our dogs are complete and accurate; we do understand that mistakes happen, however, so if you absolutely cannot find the answer to your question in the dog's bio, you can contact us for more information. We require a home visit for each dog we adopt out, so we adopt within a 2 hour radius of Dayton, OH. If you are outside of this radius, we encourage you to contact your local rescue or shelter.
