Dog Breed: American Pit Bull Terrier / Mixed (short coat). Sweet and lovable, that’s our girl Akari! She is an 18 month old pittie mix. Akari lived with her family from the time she was a young puppy. Unfortunately, due to health issues, her family was unable to properly care for her and made the difficult decision to surrender her. Akari is confused and stressed, but that hasn’t stopped her from being super sweet and affectionate to all of our volunteers. She is truly a love bug. Give her some belly rubs and she will melt in your arms! Akari is playful, engaging and has the energy level you would expect from a young dog. Akari is looking for a family that will love her forever- this sweet girl deserves that! Akari is housebroken, up to date on vaccines and will be spayed upon adoption.
